According to a KPMG study published in 2016, Greater Montréal offers the most competitive operating costs among the major metropolises of the G-7 countries that were analyzed, with a population of 2 million or more. Indeed, the city enjoys a cost advantage of nearly 15% over the average of the four largest US cities for all the sectors studied. And this cost advantage increases to 25% and more in certain strategic sectors that benefit from targeted tax credits.
