Montréal International is proud to attend the GDC for the very first time to recruit talent and promote Montréal as a strong game development hub and a great place to live and work.

From March 19 to 23, over 25,000 attendees will converge on San Francisco for the world’s largest professional game industry event.

Video game professionals will have the opportunity to stop by our booth and chat with our Talent Montréal team to learn more about the many job opportunities in Greater Montréal and the city’s exceptional quality of life. Over 30 Montréal studios, including independent studios and larger studios, will also be on site, advertising around a hundred specialized positions.

Montréal International set on recruitment

For the past eight years, we have been giving Greater Montréal businesses the opportunity to participate in overseas recruitment missions, enabling them to quickly find the skilled people they need and leverage a wide range of knowledge, with a clear positive impact on innovation and productivity.

As we noticed an increase in participation rates during our last recruitment missions, we stepped up our efforts and went from two missions in 2016 to nine missions in 2017 to meet the growing needs of businesses. We will continue to work hard over the next few months to explore new regions and help more businesses find the experienced skilled workers they need.

To support our team on site, we have developed a cost of living comparison tool that foreign workers can use to simulate different scenarios depending on the city of their choice and the wages earned. Montréal is clearly a very attractive option for young families and single workers. Click this link to access the tool: costlivingmontreal.com/
