Tony Loffreda, CPA (Illinois), Regional Vice President, Commercial Financial Services, Québec Headquarters, RBC Royal Bank
Tony Loffreda is responsible for seven commercial banking vice-presidents who along with their teams cover commercial banking for the Western Quebec region and all major specializations for the province of Quebec. These specializations include the financing and servicing of real estate, public sector, knowledge based industries such as technologies, cinema and health sciences. He is a member of the RBC Executive Committee, Human Resources and Donations Committee for the province of Quebec as well as a member of the National Executive Real Estate Capital Commitment Committee for RBC.
Tony began his career at a reputable accounting firm in 1984 and was a team manager in audit and accounting. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1990 and has made his way through the ranks in the industry having held numerous positions ranging from senior business banking manager, senior director capital markets for Eastern Canada to the current executive position he holds in the commercial banking area at RBC
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (BCom) from Concordia University and earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Tony Loffreda’s past and present volunteer activities include serving as director or chairing fund raising activities and giving numerous conferences for a variety of organizations including various chambers of commerce, hospitals, health care foundations, cegeps and university business schools. He has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
