Montréal, 8 September 2015 – Flucticiel, a major player in the integration of automation solutions for the optimization of administrative and financial processes, has chosen Greater Montréal to be the home of its first subsidiary in North America. This investment will result in the creation of 20 jobs over the span of three years, and will enable the French group to respond to the growing needs of North American companies that want to improve their performance in their Purchase-To-Pay process: e-procurement, supplier invoices processing, and business travel management.
The opening of Flucticiel’s subsidiary in Québec is part of an overall strategy which commenced due to the mature market in Europe. “In the context of recovery of the global economy, there is a large potential market for Flucticiel particularly in North America,” said Philippe de La Villardière Flucticiel’s President and CEO.
Large Canadian companies, as well as SMEs, are looking now more than ever, to optimize their costs and improve their productivity. “The current level of business development in Canada is being accompanied by needs for streamlined tools and processes, which we are able to meet with leading-edge expertise and experience,” said Mr. Nicolas Eparvier, Sales and Marketing Director of Flucticiel North America.
Located in downtown Montréal, the company was accompanied by Montréal International, the economic development agency of Greater Montréal, and Investissement Québec, who provided the distinctive advantages of the metropolis and have supported the development of this project. “The establishment of Flucticiel in Greater Montréal demonstrates once again the attractiveness of our city which offers a dynamic business market alongside its large pool of qualified talent and a strategic geographical location for reaching internationally,” said Dominique Anglade, President and CEO of Montréal International. “Targeted Flucticiel expertise will strengthen the value chain of multiple sectors in Québec, keeping along with what the company has already successfully accomplished throughout Europe.”
It is important to note that, since its creation in 2002, Flucticiel has experienced double-digit growth and has customers which include renowned companies: Veolia, Alstom, Bic, Geodis, Transdev, MBDA / EADS, Randstad, Lindt, Lavazza, Le Figaro, Volvo EC, Zodiac Marine & Pool, Continental, TUI, and more.
