Montréal International three-time winner at the 2015 International Economic Development Council Awards

Montréal, October 6, 2015 – Montréal International brought home three awards from the annual International Economic Development Council (IEDC) conference held this week in Anchorage, Alaska: GOLD for its 2014 Activity Report, SILVER for its UK web campaign, and BRONZE for its new brochure promoting Greater Montréal, in the Population greater than 500,000 category.

“Montréal International leads the way in terms of economic development best practices with its targeted, future-oriented initiatives intended to position Greater Montréal as an attractive and competitive investment destination,” said Louis Arseneault, Vice President – Talent Attraction, Promotion and Communications, Montréal International. “These awards are a prestigious international recognition of Montréal International’s innovative promotion and communication activities and metropolitan economic development expertise,” he added.

IEDC, the largest network of economic development professionals in the world, also presented Montréal International with three awards in 2014: SILVER for its 2013 Activity Report, BRONZE for its new visual identity, and BRONZE again for its 2013-2014 Greater Montréal Attractiveness Indicators brochure.

On October 1, 2015, Montréal International’s UK web campaign also won an Infopresse Strat award, which recognizes the best marketing and communications strategies in Québec every year.
