Montréal International, Greater Montréal’s investment promotion agency, provided strategic support, helping the company carry out its expansion project. “Greater Montréal’s life sciences and health technologies (LSHT) sector is an economic driver for the region, with its critical mass of industry leaders and skilled workers, low operating costs, and an R&D environment that fosters competitiveness,” said Mr. Bolduc. It is key that we promote such strengths to foreign businesses like Nestle Skin Health, which create quality jobs while driving innovation and productivity in the region,” he added.
Greater Montréal is home to over 2,200 foreign subsidiaries, which account for 10% of
private-sector jobs and 20% of the region’s GDP. The local LSHT sector boasts 200 foreign subsidiaries and 20,000 jobs.
