It’s now official—the first ever Greater Montréal Attractiveness Forum will be held on November 4, 2016!
This new initiative by Montréal International is a unique opportunity for some 500 decision-makers and players in the region’s economic, institutional and business communities to discuss the city’s attractiveness as the key to Greater Montréal’s prosperity. Dominique Anglade, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation, Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, and Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montréal and President of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal, will also take part in this unifying event.
“We are convinced that the commitments and action plan issued during the Forum will result in the improvement of Greater Montréal’s attractiveness and will lead to several announcements of foreign direct investment projects,” said Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International.
Participants will be attending workshops where they can propose tangible solutions to improve Greater Montréal’s investment climate, and there will be a tribute luncheon to recognize and celebrate the contribution by foreign subsidiaries to the region’s economy.
The Greater Montréal Attractiveness Council, which brings together about fifteen business leaders from the metropolitan area, will help plan this event.
Mark November 4 on your calendars and keep an eye out for the official invitations. Registration begins in September.
WHEN: Friday, November 4, 2016, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
