Montréal International unveiled record results for fiscal 2016, including over $1.347 billion in foreign direct investment.
“About 75% of the foreign companies that received support from Montréal International are in high-tech sectors, and 20% are in AI” Mr. Bolduc added.
With the highest concentration of deep learning researchers in the world, artificial intelligence is currently experiencing explosive growth in Greater Montréal. “Even The New York Times had words of praise for our AI sector,” Mr. Bolduc pointed out.
