The Blue Solutions Canada story
Blue Solutions Canada is a subsidiary of the French group Bolloré. Established in Boucherville since 2007, it specializes in the development and manufacturing of all-solid batteries for the transportation sector. The Boucherville plant produces the world’s first commercial all-solid battery, which is used to power Mercedes-Benz eCitaro electric buses.
Montréal International’s impact
- Helped position the company within the Montréal and Québec ecosystem: Montréal International put Blue Solutions in touch with several key players in its sector of activity.
- Provided support for the industrial manufacturing project of new generation batteries in Boucherville: Montréal International helped Blue Solutions submit a grant application to Investissement Québec. The company invested in its Boucherville plant to install its new production line there.
