Mace Consult looks to expand in Montréal to support infrastructure projects

The news was welcomed by the Montréal contingent led by Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada, who also serves as President of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal, and Montréal International President and CEO Stéphane Paquet, among others who joined the meeting.

Mace currently employs more than 100 professionals in Canada from Toronto to Montréal, helping to deliver a variety of projects including the Metrolinx GO and subways mega program. The company’s expansion comes at a time when Canada’s Major Projects Office is allocating $135 billion for infrastructure improvements alongside provincial and local funding.

At the municipal level, Mayor Ferrada cites plans to invest $25.9 billion in Montréal infrastructure over the next decade through 2035 to modernize transportation networks, strengthen trade corridors, and bolster the region’s economic position.

The meeting provided the basis for mutually promising collaboration supporting these plans, with Mace sharing expertise to foster sustainable and resilient development tailored to Montréal’s needs and priorities. With the ultimate goal of catalyzing socioeconomic opportunities, the participants discussed ways to multiply the value realized by infrastructure investments throughout and beyond the development lifecycle – all for the greater benefit of the Montréal metro population.
