Praxedo chooses Montréal to expand business in North America

April 26, 2017

Montréal, April 26th, 2017 – French company Praxedo announces that it has chosen Montréal to set up its Canadian subsidiary and start business development in North America. Founded in Paris in 2005, Praxedo accelerates its global expansion by opening another new branch out of France.

Strongly established in Europe, the software vendor specializing in the automation of Field Service Management (intelligent scheduling and service team dispatch) is convinced by the Canadian market’s potential. With a commercial presence in Québec over the past two years, it has developed and retained customers before investing and building a local team in downtown Montréal.

“Canada is a strategic market for Praxedo; the equipment rate in FSM software is quite low, especially among SMEs, and business opportunities are streaming in,” said Mr. Jean de Broissia, President and co-founder of Praxedo, born in Québec.

Praxedo was accompanied in its implementation by Montréal International, the economic development agency of Greater Montréal, and Investissement Québec. “Greater Montréal acts as a magnet towards companies from the Information and Communications Technologies sector,” said Mr. Hubert Bolduc, President and CEO of Montréal International. “Praxedo’s focused expertise will also support the competitiveness of companies seeking efficiency,” Mr. Bolduc added.

Praxedo is made for both SMEs and large companies from a wide range of industries – telecommunications, energy, HVAC, plumbing, security and many more – for whom customer services have a fundamental value in Business development. The Praxedo solution, with its Web-based interface and mobile application, in the cloud and hosted in Canada, enables organizations to achieve greater efficiency in managing their operations, including route optimization and real-time information.

“Productivity is a major challenge for service companies and we can help them improve it because of our ability to adapt our software to their business processes,” said Nicolas Eparvier, Managing Director of the Canadian subsidiary.
