MedQualis and parent company Keyrus BioPharma expanding in Greater Montréal
Montréal-based MedQualis, a clinical contract research organization (CRO) renowned for its clinical research, has undergone rapid growth since being acquired by French company Keyrus BioPharma in January 2016. Staff in Montréal has doubled in a single year, from 10 to 25 employees.
MedQualis’s growth has been driven not only by a larger share of the clinical research market but also by the recent announcement of a new range of biometrics services. The department is headed by Louise Fortier, a leading data management and statistical processes expert in Canada. The expansion of MedQualis will allow Keyrus BioPharma to round out its service offering in Canada by providing specialized biometrics training to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Keyrus BioPharma’s expansion through its subsidiary, MedQualis, is part of the company’s plan to gain a larger share of the North American market while providing quality clinical services to its clients in Europe and North America.
